Translations

(Etheridge) Now there were six waterpots of stone set there, unto the purification of the Jihudoyee, which contained each two quarantals ^[Rebeen.] or three.

(Murdock) And there were there six waterpots of stone, set for the purification of Jews, containing each two or three quadrantalia.

(Lamsa) And there were six stone jars placed there for the purification of the Jews, which could hold several gallons each.

(KJV) And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece.
