Translations

(Etheridge) Because every thing with blood was purified under the law; and without shedding of blood there is no remission.

(Murdock) because every thing, according to the law, is purified with blood: and without the shedding of blood, there is no remission.

(Lamsa) Because nearly everything, according to the law, is purified with the blood: and without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.

(KJV) And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
