Translations

(Etheridge) Now FAITH is the persuasion concerning things which are in hope, as if they were in reality ^{[In act]} , and a revelation of those which are not seen.

(Murdock) Now faith is the persuasion of the things that are in hope, as if they were in act; and [it is] the manifestness of the things not seen.

(Lamsa) NOW faith is the substance of things hoped for, just as it was the substance of things which have come to pass; and it is the evidence of things not seen,

(KJV) Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
