Translations

(Etheridge) And they went down and prayed for them, that they might receive the Spirit of Holiness:

(Murdock) And they went down, and prayed over them, that they might receive the Holy Spirit.

(Lamsa) Who, when they went down, prayed over them that they might receive the Holy Spirit.

(KJV) Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:
