Translations
(Etheridge) And when it was morning the prefects sent to the bearers of rods to say to the chief of the house of the bound, Loose those men.
(Murdock) And when it was morning, the prefects sent rod-bearers to say to the superior of the prison: Let those men loose.
(Lamsa) In the morning, the soldiers sent the lictors to tell the prison warden to release those men.
(KJV) And when it was day, the magistrates sent the serjeants, saying, Let those men go.
