Translations

(Etheridge) For David in his generation served the will of Aloha, and slept, and was added to his fathers, and saw corruption.

(Murdock) For David, in his generation, served the pleasure of God, and went to rest, and was added to his fathers, and saw corruption.

(Lamsa) For David, after he had served his own generation with the will of God, passed away; though he was a greater man than his fathers, yet he saw corruption.

(KJV) For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:
