1Corinthians 7:26 - ܘܣܳܒ݂ܰܪ ܐ݈ܢܳܐ ܕ݁ܗܳܕ݂ܶܐ ܫܰܦ݁ܺܝܪܳܐ ܡܶܛܽܠ ܐܰܢܰܢܩܺܐ ܕ݁ܙܰܒ݂ܢܳܐ ܕ݁ܦ݂ܰܩܳܚ ܠܶܗ ܠܒ݂ܰܪܢܳܫܳܐ ܕ݁ܗܳܟ݂ܰܢܳܐ ܢܶܗܘܶܐ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) And I consider that this is good ^[counsel] , on account of the necessity of the time, that it is expedient for a man so to be.

(Murdock) And I think this is suitable, on account of the necessity of the times; it is advantageous for a man to remain as he is.

(Lamsa) And I suppose that this is good for the present necessity, therefore I say, It is better for a man to remain as he is.

(KJV) I suppose therefore that this is good for the present distress, I say, that it is good for a man so to be.
