1Corinthians 10:6 - ܗܳܠܶܝܢ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܛܽܘܦ݂ܣܳܐ ܠܰܢ ܗ݈ܽܘ ܗܘܰܘ ܕ݁ܠܳܐ ܗܘܰܝܢ ܪܳܓ݁ܺܝܢ ܒ݁ܺܝܫܳܬ݂ܳܐ ܐܰܝܟ݁ܰܢܳܐ ܕ݁ܗܶܢܽܘܢ ܪܰܓ݂ܘ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) But these became an example for us; that we should not desire evils, as they desired;

(Murdock) Now these things were an example for us, that we should not hanker after evil things as they hankered.

(Lamsa) But they became an example to us, so that we should not covet evil things as they did covet.

(KJV) Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.
